Kemi

‘Kemi’

Hannah met Kemi in design school, who initially came across as very kept to herself and quiet which is what she wanted to capture in the piece but the reality is that they spent most days howling with laughter in the classrooms.  Kemi is the same age as Hannah’s mother but her soul is just as young as Hannah’s which is what she wanted to capture in the painting.

Hannah chose the colours to describe her calming presence.
